Today, a repair will be made to the utility vault in the shared driveway between Ponce Springs and Glen Iris Lofts. One lane of the driveway will be barricaded while this repair is being made.
The fourth annual Atlanta Moon Ride will take place on June 10 at 11pm. Nearby streets, including our section of Glen Iris, may be closed as early as 9pm and as late as 1am. Visit the Moon Ride website for more information.
A boil water advisory is in effect for the areas of Atlanta shown on this map. Affected areas include, but are not limited to: the Fox Theatre, Cabbagetown, Edgewood, Old Fourth Ward, West End, Peoplestown, Reynoldstown, Mechanicsville, Summerhill, Edgewood, Avon Avenue and South Fulton County.
You should boil your water for 1 minute past a rolling boil before using it for cooking, drinking or brushing teeth. Check @ATLWatershed for updates.
Update: As of 2 a.m. May 2, the boil-water advisory has been lifted with the exception of the 745 block of Memorial Drive Southeast. Samples taken throughout all other affected areas showed no contamination. City recommends running faucets for 3-5 minutes to clear lines.
PSL Residents and Businesses: another phase of stucco work is starting on the building this week. Pressure washing will occur prior to stucco work. The work will be on the Glen Iris Drive side of the building. Units on this side of the building should:
- Ensure all items have been removed from balconies no later than Friday, April 29. Balconies must remain clear of items until work is complete.
- Remember to keep all windows and sliding glass doors completely closed and locked during the cleaning/repair process.
The work should be complete within a couple of weeks (depending on the weather). If you have any questions, please contact our property management representatives, Kim Hedden or Kim Roberts.
Thank you for your cooperation!
